The House Oversight Committee has released a collection of approximately 70 photos obtained from the property of late adjudicated sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the latest in a series of publication from a cache of over 95,000 photos the committee has obtained from Epstein's holdings. It features pictures of passages from the literary work Lolita scrawled across a woman's body, and obscured images of women's international passports.

This release occurs mere hours before the December 19th deadline for the Department of Justice to release each records associated with its investigation into Epstein.

"These new photos raise further inquiries about precisely what the Department of Justice has in its possession," stated the senior Democrat of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photographs Released

Several of the images published on Thursday depict Epstein conversing with professor and activist Noam Chomsky aboard a personal aircraft; Bill Gates standing alongside a female whose face is redacted; Steve Bannon sitting at a table opposite Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the latest wealthy, prominent individuals to be pictured in Epstein's estate photographs published by the House Oversight Committee - previously released photos also show US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Being pictured in the photos is is not considered indication of any illegal activity, and several of the photographed individuals have asserted they were in no way implicated in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a announcement accompanying the photo disclosure, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein property holders did not offer background information or dates for the pictures.

"Images were picked to provide the general populace with transparency into a representative sample of the images obtained from the estate, and to provide insights into Epstein's network and his profoundly troubling behavior," the statement states.

The disclosure also contains a number of photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita inscribed in black ink across different parts of a female's body, like her torso, foot, hip, and rear. Lolita tells the story of a young girl who was manipulated by a older literature professor.

One quote from the book inscribed across a woman's chest reads, "Lolita's name: the point of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the roof of the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a series of images of women's travel documents and identification documents from countries worldwide, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the information on the IDs, including identities and DOBs, is censored but the panel said in a announcement that the passports pertain to "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were engaging".

An additional image features Epstein sitting at a table closely in the company of three women whose identities have been censored - one individual has her hand on Epstein's chest under his garment, and a second is leaning to look at a close-by computer. Epstein seems to be helping the third fasten a wristband.

A further photo made public is a screenshot of text messages from an unnamed sender who states they have been supplied "a number of girls" and are requesting "$one thousand dollars per girl".

Photograph Publication Arrives Before DOJ Due Date

The panel has a vast number of photos in its possession from the Epstein property, which are "at once graphic and everyday," its press release on Thursday noted.

The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the holdings of Epstein, who passed away in a New York prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on accusations of human trafficking, in August.

The images and records the Epstein estate's representatives gave to the panel are separate from what is often referred to "the Epstein files". Those are documents in the justice department's possession associated with its separate probe into Epstein.

Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which the President made law in November, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to release its documents. The scope of the contents included in the DOJ's records is unknown, and it's likely that a large amount of the content will be significantly obscured, akin to Congressional documents
